Verdict: F Cup Cookie

One of Japan's hottest bust enhancement product - F Cup Cookie

That is what I've been eating every morning and night for 2 weeks. It claims to visibly enhance and enlarge the bust after 2 weeks of consumption - 2 cookies per day one for night and one for day, because it contains this soy ingredient called P_ M_ extracted from a plant grown in Thailand. It is supposed to mimic the effects of estrogen and increase bust size. Contains 68.7kcals for 1 day consumption and is highly recommended by Taiwan beauty show - Nu Ren Wo Zhui Da, and even Mel C from Spice Girls is rumored to be taking it.

So i tried, patiently eating the cookie for 2 weeks and really, it tastes rather yummy and buttery nice. However, it is not a cheap try, and one box costs about S$20, and we need 2 boxes for 2 weeks supply. I am skeptical but hopeful throughout, yet i do wonder where the extra 68.7kcal will end up, will it make be fat at the wrong places?

Verdict:
BOOS. :( :( :(
It doesn't work at all!!! I feel fatter at the wrong places instead (thighs, butt, under arms) instead of any improvement to the bust. What a waste of money. If anyone have tried and it works, please share your experience with me.

Skirts makes you (me) feel good

I think skirts and dresses are such the best inventions for women's clothing. They're absolute essentials in the wardrobe and i personally feel that every woman should own at least a dress and a skirt because they make you feel so much more feminine because of the flirty way skirts moves, as compared to pants which are more structured with a harder edge to them than the soft appeal of skirts.

If I have all the money in the world, i'll wish to get these. (All from ASOS UK)

Chiffon Dresses

In Animal Prints :)

Tiny floral prints with a ruffled edge, above knees (ruffles are love)

Ruffled or tiered bottoms

Ruffled sleeves and tiered shaped short dress

Or simple cut dresses with interesting fronts (Bib, ribbons, frills)

Party Dresses

White and Gold, soft lines, A-line bottom
Skirts

Russian cut, with pleats

Anyway, enough of dreaming, they all cost close to hundred or more. But hope you've enjoyed the pictures.

The leggings paired with ankle length boots (oxford boots especially, adds a smart and tougher edge to the softness of a dress) or multi strap pumps look is really fashionable this season..

Oxford Boots (left), Multi strap heeled pumps (right - i'll prefer black, red or pink though)

Actually, as much as magazines and all that try to convince us that we can look good, fashion forward even on a tight budget, i'm not entirely convinced. They define an expensive outfit as one that costs thousands, and a 'budget' outfit as one that costs a few hundred including bag, shoes, dress and all that. :S

I'll love to get oxford boots/multi strap pumps and chiffon dresses this season, paired with black semi-opaque/opaque stockings, they'll look so so good. (See second pic)

That's a christmas fashion wish!

As for now, i better go back to studying for my exams. They're crucial, i only have one chance and i need to grab it now.

Big Apple - yay or nay?

The most important decision of my 21 year old life, work and travel USA, yes or no?

I may be travelling alone, or with two guys from Singapore, one of which is my classmate. I'm too excited to go to New York and this is going to be the biggest decision of my young life, but for now, its a resounding 90% aye!

Imagine, me in Manhatten, Soho, Greenwich, Central Park eating Krispy Kremes and typical American jumbo hotdogs and pretzels, me taking a picture of Stature of Liberty, walking those streets that I've only seen on TV or magazines.. I'm a very happy me thinking about all that. :D

xoxo, (wish me luck or some divine help from God to convince at least one of my gfs to go and i promise to bring pictures of NY, heeeeeart NY!)

** Update (16th Nov): I've submitted my application and its a 'yay' !! I'm so excited i'll spend my December researching for my travel plans :)

Clothes Buying spree!

Shopping always makes one happy, although the costs are hefty. :D However, we do need to treat ourselves once in a while. When women are stressed, they usually turn to emotional eating, denial, depression or shop like a maniac because retail power is so sweet!

Why should we gorge ourselves silly or take it out on the boyfriend? Shopping is so sweet! Provided you don't burn your credit card. Do choose carefully though, or chuck the item off for sale if it's really an impulsive, impossible buy.

TIP: Try as hard as ever NOT to use credit. Overdue credit card payments and sky rocketing interests are not worth it. Have a separate bank account purely extra spending but spare a portion for your grocery and home bills, being locked out or hungry is not worth it for that little designer bag! Open another account for long term savings, retirement fund and 6 months emergency fund should you require it.

Recent clothing I've bought in the last 3 weeks

G2000 sassy trench coat (work/casual) + 1 purple tank top (no picture)

Cutie Fashion: Pink Top for Fall

Cutie Fashion: Light Blue Striped Top

Cutie Fashion: Pink Checkered Dress

Cutie Fashion: Yellow Off Shoulder Top

Cutie Fashion: Black and Pink Racer Long Top with Frills

Barbie Bagel Polka Dotted Halter

Barbie Bagel Off Shoulder Peasant Embroidered Dress

Barbie Bagel 2 piece Almond Chiffon Top

Totally not runway worthy because they are all so saccharine pretty, I'm more into Japanese magazine fashion (e.g. Japan Vivi) that focuses on little frilly details. I wish i can pull off a cool-sweet look, think a short dress with tights and ankle length boots with a leopard printed bag.. OMGosh, i love leopard printed chiffon mini skirts that's featured in Vivi autumn right now.

(Oooh the Rain!) My new whitening regime

The irritable feeling of hot sun scorching on me in recent weeks due to my little outdoor adventures (field trips! ): ) and the likes have left my once trouble free and relatively fair skin dull and shallow with tiny spots and bumps- I'm more yellow than ever, and i feel that my pigmentation (freckles, moles) areas are growing visibly. Bad news for a sun shunner like me because i prize porcelain perfect skin.

I've been thinking of trying out L'Oreal White Perfect Re-Lightening range for some time, and i finally succumbed because my day moisturizer is finishing. I'm a true blue Beauty junkie who loves to try out different products, but can't bear to throw them out even when they're not effective.. and I'm the sort who loves to buy and start on new products before finishing the old, leaving my beauty cabinet filled to the brim with similar products from different brands... Same goes for makeup cabinet. (opps!)

These are the products I've bought yesterday:

1) L'Oreal White Perfect Radiance Boosting Double Essence - S$31.90 with free Toner. It's so cool with 2 vials that you press and the product comes out together, just swirl it a little with your finger to mix them, pat onto skin as usual. For those who are wondering what essence does, its basically a light fluid that can penetrate deep into the skin to moisturise it.

2) L'Oreal White Perfect Day Moisturiser - S$18.90. Apply after essence, comes with some SPF protection. To moisturise the surface layers of the skin for smooth, hydrated skin!

3) L'Oreal UV Protect Advanced Fluid Protector - $16.90 after 20%. Apply last in skincare regime as a makeup base for makeup to glide easily onto skin, lightens and reflect light to make skin luster from within, SPF50 PA+++. Really good in my opinion, i bought the anti-dullness one in purple, it makes your skin glow and corrects minor flaws! :D

4) Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Face Powder - $16.90. This is a new version of my favourite pressed powder. I hate the smell of the new product though, and the limited range of shades available. Grudgingly took the "Natural" colour and i think its too dark for me.. :( Give me the old version anytime, i think i will hunt for another pressed powder very soon.

5) Maybelline Nail Polish Remover - $6.90. I love this product because it removes nail polish completely in a few slick swipes! Cheap and good. :D

If you're interested, this is my complete skincare regime

The major Hair decision of my life

Chopping it off have never been easy, and regretting and pining over lost hair will not help because it will probably take many many months (and for me, one entire year) to grow it back to its original glory. :(

I just had my many years of long hair brutally snapped off with a flick of a finger. It is so easy to convince me when i'm in my crazy adventurous mode, when just the day before, i was complaining why all my haircuts over the past 2 years looked the same.

Girl, you shouldn't have relented and been convinced by t
he overzealous hair dresser so easily!

Kays, don't scold me for being so serious, (its just hair, and it grows back right?), and really, stars have made it so fashionable. Think Victoria Beckam, Sienna Miller, Katie Holmes who have made the short crop/bob trendy.

Victoria Beckham (Long hair)

Victoria really looks better in her shorter and lighter bob that doesn't drag her face down

Sienna Miller (Long Hair) - She has a really sweet glow

Sienna Miller (Gamine Crop) - She looks good in an edgy way, but i prefer her with long hair.

I think these celebrities are guilty of influencing us normal folks to take the plunge because recently, more and more people i've seen who had long hair have been spotting short bobs. Local celebs like Zoe Tay, Constance Song are living it short too.

In the end, i think it's a very personal decision after all. Hair grows back, but are you willing to take the risk for a gamble at a sassy short-do?

Personally, i kind of regretted it a bit. But my boyfriend loves the change.
